I run a triple 1080p monitor array using NVIDIA surround, with each monitor set to 1920x1080@60Hz.
I am wanting to clone the middle monitor onto this TV, and put that on my wall to watch movies etc. It's my understanding that a DVI-D splitter and then a DVI to HDMI converter will do this. Sound is not an issue.

However.. In the specs, it shows the TV as having a 50Hz refresh rate.

Will this cause an issue? Will the TV be able to display 60Hz? Will this mess up my surround setup?

I literally just want to clone the middle monitors feed, that would be absolutely perfect.

Thanks!

It should run at 50Hz anyway. If you're running in surround, you won't be able to clone the middle monitor's feed.

How come you can't just have the TV as an extended desktop? You can drag movies over to it and play them full screen. You then just need to simply connect the display.

I have this tv mounted on the wall above my main monitor and just run it as extended desktop using dvi-hdmi cable job done :D. No problems with refresh rates

Can't use extended desktop since the cards I'm using (570s in SLI) don't support an accessory display when running in surround.

Also damnit...
Does anyone know anything I can do then? Extended desktop would be ideal, but I didn't think it was possible so I've not been looking in to it
