I'm after a 4k 43 inch TV for a bedroom for a couple of hours of viewing each night. Mostly it'll be Sky and Netflix and the other on demand apps etc.

There's an absolute ton of Tv's under £300-£350 and I really have no idea which models or brands I should be looking at

Anyone here got any suggestions

Cheers

I had a brief look at TVs of this size as I was considering using one as a monitor. The TCL 645k gets well reviewed for the price.

How is the TV. I have had my eye on this for my living room. Will be used for general streaming from a Chromecast and have my PC plugged in.

It's a decent TV for the price but I'm not sure I'd want it as my living room TV but I suppose that depends on your budget

There's a lot of backlight bleed in dark scenes but I'm yet to find a cheap TV that doesn't have that issue

Watching sports (football mostly) isn't ideal as it gets a bit blurry under fast motion but there are motion settings that you can change, I haven't bothered to mess with them properly tbh

Colors and 4k content all seem decent enough though, I've watched quite a few movies on mine without any issues

If you have any particular questions let me know and I'll try my best to answer them

Thank you.

Only other questions is, does it have HDMI 2.1?
The place that has it says 2.0 but they used stock photos showing 2.1.
The backlight bleed can't be worse than my 10 year old Samsung.

Looking at the back of the TV where the inputs are it just shows HDMI 1 2 and 3. Not sure how I can find out if they're HDMI 2.1

That's ok, I will dig through some reviews. Thank you for looking and getting back to me.

I also have this TV and googling 43E7NQTUK HDMI returns

Model name = 43E7NQTUK
HDMI 1 connector HDMI2.1/eARC, ALLM, VRR (60HZ)
HDMI 2 connector HDMI2.1/ALLM, VRR (60HZ)
HDMI 3 connector HDMI2.1/ALLM, VRR (60HZ)

I use it in the bedroom and yeah its great for the price (I paid £280) and I have no real complaints about it.

It's also on the product page - https://uk.hisense.com/products/tv/qled-tv/TV-SET-43E7NQTUK-HSN/p/000000000020013276

Oh and it is DLED not Edge lit, so the backlight bleed (to me at least) is definitely better than my other cheap Panasonic 43" I use in the office.

And finally for the best picture, stick it in Filmmaker mode and leave it there.

Thank you for this. I think this model will suit me just fine. Be great to see some 1440p too.
