I'm looking to buy a new TV for when (if all goes through) we move house

I've currently got a Samsung UE40KU6020 that has nice picture, good colours etc. but this will be moved to a new room so require something new for the living room

I was thinking of sticking with Samsung and been looking at the UE49MU6400
How does this rate? General reviews seem pretty good but looking for advice

If money can stretch the Samsung QE49Q7F suppose to be great. They got really good reviews. It's the one I'm currently thinking of buying.

They sell for £1200 from John Lewis and Curry's.

I bought this TV last month and think it’s great for my first foray into 4k.

Having seen the Panasonic TX-50EX750 and Samsung UE49MU8000 in person in a store I prefer the Panasonic personally and im mot sure extra 200/300 quid for the QE49Q7F is worth it. As your close to 55" OLED money if you have the physical space (which I don't sadly)

I am looking to make the move to 4k and was looking at that one (MU7070), but was not sure if I should go for the 55inch instead as that seems to have 10bit support. The 7 series is also 60Hz; while the 8 series is 120Hz (except for the 49inch model).

I know there is better out there, but am on a budget. Is 120Hz refresh rate or 10bit support critical? The Xbox One X will be my main source for 4k content.

MU7070 55" is within my budget, but for £200-£250 more I could either get the MU8000 55" or the Q7F 49".

Decisions, decisions.

I'm in the same boat, looking to get a Xbox One X soon and would like a decent response rate 4k tv for ~£500 to ~£750.
