43" TV with good sound quality built in

Hi all, I am looking for a 43" TV with a good sound quality. My 84 year old mother wants to upgrade from an old 37inch plasma to a 43 inch LED before Wimbledon tennis starts. She does not want a sound bar...it would not be appropriate...So is there a 43" TV..smart on dumb...with good quality built in speakers....

The 43" TV market is pretty crap TBH. Sorry probably not what you want to hear, 49" opens up much better TVs.

The Pana 50GX800 surprised me with both the clarity and the volume of sound it produces. Lots of smart features too. They make a 40" version.

Buy the most expensive 43" LG available from John Lewis.

Harmon kardon make their speakers and they are insane on the higher end models.
