Hello,

I recently purchased an MSI 430GT mdigd3 graphics card. It came with two fermi demos, supersonic sled and design garage. When running supersonic sled everything looks fine and and there aren't any artifacts until there's a lot of processing that's needed (I don't have an image for this because these are minor aritfacts) however when I run design garage, there are a lot of artifacts, as shown below, Is this the graphics card not being able to cope with the rendering or have I got a dud card?

I havent been able to try this with any proper games yet, But this graphics card has been bought for some 3d modelling

Do the artifacts go away when you leave the scene still for a while? I wouldn't think they're down to the card being dud, but rather that because it's rendering in realtime, the GTS430 is having a hard time coping compared to higher end Fermi chips. If you follow the areas where the artifacts occur most, you'll see that it seems to be on reflections which makes me think it is down to the GTS430's rendering speed.

For 3D modelling, this isn't much of an issue if you're using it for the 3D View ports while modelling, but still use the CPU for "traditional" rendering though even if you use a GPU rendering client, I'd expect a GTS430 to be faster than a CPU.
