Thats me btw with my Asus P5B-e and 4300
I dont understand some things.
Can anyone tell me why my 4300 will do 9x266=2394 with memory set at 533Mhz
and yet when I try 6x400 =2400 it wont even boot into windows?
Memory is Corsair PC6400. I have a feeling its the strap thingy. At 400 FSB the lowest memory speed is 667 which I have a feeling may be 4:5 can anyone confirm this? It was all much easier with the old ratio settings

Is there anywhere I can compare Super Pi times?
At 9x266 2.GHz with memory running 1:1 1M Pi takes 25.132 but I need some comparisons and goals for my clocking exploits :D

Your motherboard or CPU isnt capable of getting to 400 at the current settings you have, even if it is only on a 6x multiplier. Lower you're multi as low as possible and try and find the highest FSB you can, looks like its not going to be 400 though, but maybes you'll get 350 or something, then up you're multi to x8 and see if it boots, then x9 and see if its stable etc. Iv got mine at 333x9 at the moment. Going to fiddle with it now, its running too hot to be honest though. Very stable though!
