Your signature needs updated ;) :)

I'd say it will be fine, I'm running an A64 3400, 6800gt, 3 hard drives and 1 optical from a 400w which is rock solid however no overclocking as my motherboard doesn't have PCI/AGP locks, I have chucked an extra hard drive or two onto the load from time to time though. More power would be better but I can't see it being an issue.

You could take a look at FSP, their 500w is in your price range.

hmm true but i could do with modular. Saying that ive just bought a lian li v1000 plus case so would modular make much difference?

The Tagan 430W PSU is a quality piece of kit and the modular capabilities are good tho not perfect. Not all of the wires are removable so you still end up with some tucked out of the way. My guess is it would be OK but don't quote me on it.

430W is absolutely fine, I use a 430W in my rig, 3800+ and X1800XT... no need to go higher whatsoever.
