I just had to post this here.

I have just upgraded an ATI 2400 pro in my HTPC, to an Asus 4350 (LP). I've attached a 90mm fan to it, running slowly, and so far I've overclocked the Core from 600 to 710MHz, and the memory from 400 to 500MHz, and it's still going.

Don't get me wrong, it's no gaming card, but it's great for a media centre. My wife has just installed Sims 3 on it, and that's running fine at the super settings.

I'm getting scared that I'll fry it, but I want to see how far I can push it on stock voltage.:D

Nice! You should get plenty of warnings before it frys, have you tried using the auto-tune in the CCC to see what that sets it to?

Also, monitor temps and make sure they don't become ridiculous, not sure what the tolerance is for a 4350.

At the moment, I'm maxing out about 42C!

I let the Auto tune start at 600 and it just kept going. I thought that there was no way it could go that high, so I stopped it prematurely. I'll have another go later or tomorrow, as it's ran for 24 hours playing games and movies.

No artefacts etc so far.

It went from a 600MHz Core to 830MHz!
and from 400Mhz memory to 535Mhz.

3D Mark 2006 jumped 400 points, which is impressive when you start at 2450.

I did try to run Folding@Home on it at those clocks, but it only lasted for 10 seconds, even though it had been getting through the benchmark, so I've knocked it down to 770 and 515.

It's been folding for 15 Minutes with no complaints, so I'll see how it goes tonight.

The wife will kill me if she can't play The Sims 3 in the morning, so I've set the clocks conservatively, if you can call a 170Mhz overclock conservative
