4400x2 overclocking.

ok this is about the 3rd post about overclocking my processor.

about 4 weeks ago i posted that my processor wouldnt overclock at all after hitting 1.6v at 2.94ghz.

iv now got my cpu at 2.3ghz on stock volts, (1.35)

and im using orthos beta to test. its now done 23mins and its fine.

i was wondering if theres any amd 4400x2 users out there who would post your overclocks so i can get a idea of what speeds i should use that are safe that wouldnt make my system go boom. thanks

well at that speed it ran the test for 4 mins if i remember correctly, one core was 43c and the other was 57c after 1 min, which is a big difference, i could tell streight away there was somthing wrong.

and after 4 full mins they was at 46c 57c

no no.

it did refuse to overclock. but now it seems to be fine, iv just clocked it up 100mhz the core, and its stable,

i was just wondering if any 4400x2 users would post there overclock speeds etc, so i can get a idea of what settings to use.

cause i dont want it to give up overclocking again

mines at 2.5ghz now at 1.41v, idle is 24-29c (the core)

and full load 50-60c. when i get a better cooling im going to higher the speed more.

aww. i was thinking of looking to see which mine is aswell.

would need to scrape the thermal stuff off tho.

alltho when i get my water cooling soon i will be removing it anyway.
