!440p IPS

Hi guys.

I'm looking for a new 1440p IPS monitor to replace my omen 25f 1080p for gaming got around £300/400 any help would be appreciated

While LGs are popular, 27" 2560x1440 "Nano-IPS" panel has blast from 15 years past garbage for contrast.
And contrast/black is never strength of IPS.
So those LG panel based ones are fit only for well illuminated room.

Panels from other manufacturers would have normal for IPS contrast or better.
AU Optronics panels would have 40+% higher contrast.

MSI G273QF would be one of those:
MSI OPTIX 27" G273QF 2560x1440 IPS 165Hz 1ms FreeSync/G-Sync Widescreen LED Backlit Gaming Monitor (SKU: MO-00Y-MS) = £258.95
Though stand has basically no adjustments and would likely need using existing stand or getting VESA mount stand.
Also colour gamut isn't the widest little below DCI-P3.

MAG274QRF-QD would be upper model with properly adjustable stand and very wide also AdobeRGB covering gamut giving very vibrant colours. (goes deeper into greens/cyan)
But price has gone up from what it was.
Though there's some B-stock.
