448 vs 570

Or a EOL / second hand 480 for a bit more poke and a very handy bit more vRAM. Should be under £240.

Get one with a better cooler and your laughing!

Thats another good idea, I kinda like that the 470 is approaching pocket change prices 2nd hand so you can mess about with 3rd party coolers and/or push the clockspeeds with a little less care about killing it and they aren't that far behind the current top end cards when pushed.

I like the look of this:

1280MB EVGA GTX 560 Ti F T W, 40nm, 3800MHz GDDR5, GPU 756MHz, Shader 1512MHz, 448 Cores.

But am not buying just yet.

Now that's a good idea. I saw GTX 480s on MM for 165-£180. One of em even was a GA Special Edition.

Abit off topic but roughly how long will my GTX 570 last me in terms of performance before it will start to struggle to max out games??

And is it worth getting a 6 series GTX card when they come out if the performance increase is much greater with the 28nm process??
