First time building a pc. I'll be using it for gaming. I already have a monitor, OS and hard drive.
Can anyone give me any advice on what I should buy.
Atm I'm thinking of using:
Asus P8B75-M Intel B75
Club3D HD 6950 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
TeamGroup Elite 8GB
Intel i3-2120
LG GH24NS90 24x SATA ReWriter
Aerocool VS-4W Windowed
Cooler Master GX Lite 500W PSU

I think it all comes to around £475

Will this be good for gaming?
I'll be wanting to play games like Skyrim, BF3, Batman: Arkham City etc on high settings with good framrates

I was just putting together a really similar build to post, but I'll just say that this one is a good build :).

Only thing possibly is if you aren't into overclocking yourself, you could consider this card instead:

YOUR BASKET
1 x PowerColor HD 7850 PCS+ Edition 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card w/ Nexuiz & Dirt Showdown PC Games £191.99
Total : £202.79 (includes shipping : £9.00).

As it comes with a factory oc rather than you having to do it yourself (which is easy but it's up to you :))

okay, How about:
PowerColor HD 7850 PCS+ Edition
Teamgroup Elite 8gb
Gigabyte Z77-DS3H Intel Z77
Cooler Master GX Lite 500W
Aerocool VS-4W Windowed
i3-2120
LG GH24NS90 24x SATA ReWriter

Is this better?

What about:
Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 500W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Suppl
i3-2120
Teamgroup Elite 8gb
PowerColor HD 7850 PCS+ Edition
Aerocool VS-4W Windowed
LG GH24NS90 24x SATA ReWriter

I'ts abit over but I think its an improvement.
Will the PSU definitely be able to support all that?

Spot on.

PSU is fine for that card.

Radeon HD 7850 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit and 650 Watt if you go with two cards in Crossfire mode.
