hi all am looking at building a pc for my bro as he has a unable to say but starts with a D and it has gone bang don't you just love D lol

he is looking at spending £450 max he dose not need a os keyboard mouse or monitor is vga as his are all new

so my question is what would be the best spec for him for the above budget he dose not game at the min so on board gpu is fine for now he would like a ssd 64g/128g and a extra 500g normal hard drive for storage a i3 or a i5 if possible in case his demand on his pc changes at the min pc is used for home and office type work with quite a bit of vid encoding not high res so no need for a i7 he will not be overclocking at all so stock cooler will be fine

Best I can do atm!

You'd need to check with OCUK regrading the Grade B items as to what they are missing. I've included a z77 as he can upgrade the CPU to i5/i7 later on. I can't get an SSD in there.

Shouldn't need an extra graphics card with a i3. I'd spend the £30 on the rest.

Would it not be better to have a small g/card than rely solely on the CPU, take some of the strain.

Still need a storage drive.

Grade B 500gb - £33?!
