46" 4k 10bit hdr tv

Looking at getting a new TV for the folks this black Friday and want to get a few model numbers to look out for.

I'm thinking 4k aprox 46" 10bit colour and HDR.

Their budget is up to £800 but hopefully will get it for less on black Friday.

Leaning towards LG but open to different suggestions.

Any recommendations?

Any reason you are getting them a 4k TV? At that size it's not even worth it unless they sit very close.

Can't remember seeing to many HDR Full HD screens

Lol i normally sit 12' away from my TV, i guess i should'nt be looking at 4k unless i can get my hands on a 130" model.

Are his parents going to be watching a lot of HDR content though? Seems like a waste to me.

more just future proofing. Found the Samsung ue49ks700 today which was deemed the entry level 10bit display.

I just purchased a ue49ks7000, it's about the most reasonably priced 10bit 4K screen you can buy currently but at slightly over the 800 budget. The alternative is the 43 inch curved 7500 which can be had for 800.
