Hi,would appreciate some help.
I have a 32 sammy lcd with xbox360.
I also use my PC with it but the res is stuck at something like 1320x768 so the pc games such as cod4 dont look so brilliant.
If i get the sammy 20" with a res of 1650x1050 would the game look a lot better and also response time of 2 ms versus the lcd of 8 i think make a difference to gameplay.
I kinda like the cinematic experience of the 360 on the bigger screen thats why im condidering the 46 with a higher res of 1900xwhatever but would Cod4 look any better on that?
I like games both on PC and 360 so if the smaller tft will enhance the games I will go for that but am not sure so would welcome some advice?
thankyou very much

cant see why the pc on that tv @ that res wouldnt look good?? Can your graphics card actually handle these resolutions+games?

I have a 40" 1920x1080, games look blooming fantastic (gaming rig has 20" 1680x1050) I'd choose the 40" any day of the week- except you need a decent rig, mines a bit borderline already at 1680x1050 on crysis.

I wouldn't use AA at 1080p due to slow down, but in a few years probably affordable PC's could manage AA at 1080p.

I have a ati1900xtx and amd dual 4400 2 gig ram.
when i compared cod 4 on the xbox to the Pc the pc looked more detailed but didnt run as well!
Well i was getting 90 fps on fraps but it didnt seem so smooth as the 360 version?

Virtually idental rig- 1900xt overclocked with S1 to close to maximum on core and memory (ATI CCC) 4400x2 @ 2.65, 2GB RAM.

I could try benchmarks on 1680x1050 and 1920x1080 if you want, 3dmark 06 ok?

ok results are 3D Mark 2006
1900XT 688/774

No AA, standard settings except changing resolution
score, sm2, hdr, cpu
1680x1050 - 5614, 2224, 2344, 2050
1920x1080 - 5283, 2112, 2139, 2048

World In Conflict vsync disabled. Pretty much max settings, 4xaa, 16af.
1680x1050 - average 18, minimum 8, maximum 31
1920x1080 - average 17, minimum 11, maximum 28
^^huh?

Company Of Heros again maxed settings
1680x1050 - average 55.7 max 62 min 21
1920x1080- average 53, max 62, min 21

Does COD 4 have a built in benchmark? I have that game. I'll try World In Conflict, I know that has minimum/maximum bench.
