Being old, I am slightly confused...it easily happens :p

I bought this card for a build:

http://uk.msi.com/product/vga/N460GTX-M2D1GD5-OC.html#?div=Specification

which states it has a "Mini HDMI x 1"

Now to connect it to my Monitor, a HDMI equiped monitor, what connector do I need, note the card has come with no accessories.

Will this do the trick?

it says mini display port...is this the same as mini HDMI ?

As always, Help appreciated guys !!;)

Displayport isn't the same as HDMI. Your card says it has DVI and mini-HDMI so you need either.

mini-HDMI to HDMI or DVI to HDMI.

If the monitor also has a DVI input then a third choice is a simple DVI-DVI cable.

yeah, the monitor has speakers, so I was wanting to run the HDMI output from the card to the monitor and carry the sound too.

So..I need to look for a mini HDMI - Male to a full size HDMI female connector?

Then I can slot in a normal HDMI cable in this connector and hook up the Monitor?

you need something like this, i had one that came with my GTX560 that I don't use... if you want it, trust me and we can sort something out on the cheap... OcUK don't stock them for some reason.

How long a cable do you need? I have some spare here as I had to move to display port when I upgraded monitors.
