460 or 465?

is it really worse though?
only the OC 460s beat the GTX 465... but then you could clock the 465... and MHZ for MHz each increase on the 465 will be worth more than the 460...
but then the gtx 465 does put out 90 degrees heat at stock..

Well i've seen 465's go for £185.99 on some e-tailer sites, and by the looks of it they are the dual fan Plait examples which (according to the reviews) give less noise and more cooling allowing you to bump up the clocks. But ive also seen the stock Asus model too for that price.
So personally if i was in the market i'd be half temped by the 465 (as once clocked it looks very impressive)

problem is that the cooling would be a 'mare to deal with on a 465 from what has bee said. Would need to get a good cooler on the 465 to be worth it. Which then leads me to thinking the 460 is the better hands down....but which model of 460, Palit etc..would be the better buy
