ello folks,

Is an AGP 6200 any better then a 4600ti? The reason I ask is that a lot of games now require pixel shader 2.0 and my 4600ti only has ps1.4 and I dont really want to buy the 6200 if the performance is worse then my 4600ti.

I dont really play any graphics intensive games(think gta:sa, WoW etc) and I dont mind playing games with the graphics set to low so the 6200 will hopefully be plenty for me.

Also, would a 256mb 6200 be worth the extra couple of quid over the 128mb version?

Grab a 7300GT DDR3, you can get a 256Mb one for like £65 or a 128Mb one for like £45.

Best budget card around atm.

You can unlock the extra 4 pipes on an AGP 6200 iirc, the success rate is pretty high too :)

Isnt that the 128-bit 6200's though?

I'm not sure if the XFX 6200's ocuk are selling are 128-bit.

I've read up on this and i'm pretty sure moddable 6200's are rare nowadays.
