4650 or 4850

Hi all .Is there a big difference in performance between these 2 cards or is it worth me investing and just getting the 4850.I just want a card that will play games for the next couple of years.I dont play on high settings either i prefer gameplay over appearance

Yes, the 4850 is far superior. 800 SPs on the 4850 vs 320SPs on the 4650!

The 4850 is much faster then the 4650 and would last you a good couple of years ( at least). It will also play most of your games on maximum settings depending on what the rest of your system is made up of.

If your budget stretches to it then get the 4850

4850 all the way. I have that card, and its brilliant.
Although 9800GTX+ is also another card to consider.
Maybe people here who has tried both 9800GTX+ and HD 4850 have something to say about that

The 4850 is brilliant as long as you game with a resolution lower than 1920x1200. Otherwise it's not quite so brilliant.
