I've got a 4690k now, at 4.8ghz 1.31v

can i push this further? temps are 68-73c under prime 95

also should i upgrade to skylake or broadwell? much benefit?

last question how does this compare to a 2600k ?

Broadwell apparently won't be much apart from if you will be using IGPU, which you won't

4.8G is a great overclock, I'd stick with that as anything more will give you minimum benefits
I'd use something like Asus Realbench or even just games that you play to see temps, as Prime95 apparently uses the AVX instruction a lot which would rarely happen in that amount

Skylake may or may not be worth it, my bets are it being on not worth it as you already have a beast CPU

will it bottleneck sli 980's? or a single Titan X?
