Ok guys, so i'm looking to upgrade these core parts now as they're still the same trusty ones i've had when I first built this PC some 8 years ago and I'm looking to upgrade primarily for gaming needs.

I've currently got a Powercool 750W 80 Plus PSU, ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series and don't have the funds to upgrade these so hopefully they will be okay. I'm also running 2 SATA HDD's.

Only thing i've sounded out is the Bitfenix Ronin Case as that seems like the go to case at that price? Everything else is in your capable hands but I will be putting it together myself if that helps.

Much appreciated.

Here you go:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £179.99
1 x MSI Z87-G43 Gaming Series Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £92.99
1 x BitFenix Ronin Tower Case - Black £69.95
1 x TeamGroup Xtreem LV 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C10 2400MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (TXD38G2400HC10QDC01) £61.99
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £59.99
Total : £474.50 (includes shipping : £8.00).

You don't save that much with a locked chip, so I put an overclockable CPU in. If you decide you want to try overclocking (there are plenty of guides out there) you'll just have to buy an aftermarket CPU cooler and away you go.

I'd recommend a new PSU, too, considering yours 8 years old and cheap.

^Can't do much better than that myself, maybe a modular PSU if you wanted + some new fans?

Is there another PSU that you would recommend as that isn't in stock :( and I would like to order later night if possible. Thanks.

Here are a couple of slightly more expensive alternatives. They would all cover you for any single GPU you could upgrade to.

YOUR BASKET
1 x SuperFlower Golden Green HX 650W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply - Black £79.99
1 x Corsair CS650M 650W Semi-Modular 80+ GOLD Certified Power Supply (CP-9020077-UK) £71.99
1 x Silverstone Strider Essential Gold - 600W (SST-ST60F-ESG) £69.95
Total : £231.53 (includes shipping : £8.00).

The This Week Only deals will change late tomorrow morning. You might want to wait and see what comes up there. The RAM I spec'd will be more expensive, though.

I guess i'll check out the deals tommorow seeing as the original PSU you specified is £10 cheaper than the latest three and the RAM will only go up by £11. May get lucky I guess :D

Could any one recommend an aftermarket CPU cooler for the MSI Z87-G43 iv been looking into the corsair hydro range but have no idea if it would fit into BitFenix Ronin, and also a normal Air recommendation would be much appreciated

The maximum cooler height for the Ronin is around 167mm (give or take a few centimetres). An h80i would fit in the rear, and an h100i should just fit in the roof.

So...what do you want from it? Silence, overclocked cooling performance, or a balance?

What is your budget?

Does your RAM have tall heatsinks?

im not too worryed about the noise as normal i have headphones on which blocks out any of that, im currently looking to do a minor overclock nothing major maybe boost the i5-4670k to to 3.8-4Ghz, budget is £70-£90

You certainly don't need to spend that much for a 4ghz overclock. In fact, with a decent chip I wouldn't be surprised to find you could get that on the stock cooler - albeit with a bit of heat and noise. Either of these would be cool and quiet, and capable of going further:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Alpenföhn Matterhorn Pure Edition CPU Cooler £29.99
1 x Deepcool GAMMAXX S40 CPU-Cooler - 120mm £19.99
Total : £59.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).
