470s to 6990

to be honest seems a bit of a waste of money, im sure the 470's can cope fine at 1920x1200 and should last you untill next gen cards come out
 
My thinking was this, 6990 on today only at £500. Sell the 470s for around £250. Leaving £250 to pay plus a water block.

I know the 470s are OK at the moment but from the above it looked like a good deal.
 
£250 + the cost of a water block for no real difference in performance.

The only thing you will be gaining is having effectively 2GB of VRAM compared to 1.25GB.

Only you can judge if that's a good deal.
