470sli vs 5970

seems to be solid performance with some nice high minimum frame rates.

looks like a good price/performance ratio when taken in that context

Doesn't really surprise me. The 470gtx is a little faster than a 5850 overall, so two of these should at least give the 5970 a very good work out.

well the prices have dropped quite a bit since then as the difference was £100+ originally now it's only £40 (obv when looking at the cheapest of the cheap lol)

Yeah, at the really high res they seem to do well, with AA sometimes also..
