I have 4770k @ 4.3Ghz playing Tom Clancy's Wildlands at 1440p / Ultra.

I know this is a demanding game for both CPU & GPU. my CPU is ~63C and all cores are jumping from 70-98% and the GPU from 90 - 99% is this classed as a bottleneck?

Looks like you are right on the edge of a bottleneck depending on the situation in game.

Could just be a game engine thing though.

What memory speed do you have?

clocking ram more and cpu if possible would help as im with 4790k 4.5 ghz and 2200 ram no bottlenecks so far then again im on 1080 not 1080ti

what no bottlenecking? are you people blind? that GPU should be locked to 99% usage if it isnt then there is a bottleneck going on.

That's not always how it works. My current 980 Ti bounces around sometimes, 90-99 in some games even at 3440x1440 and that's on a 4.5 Ghz 4770k. There's no cpu bottleneck there.

I'd say, try some different and potentially more demanding games at the 1440p resolution and see if the gpu % rises. But personally I would not recomend an upgrade from the 4770k just yet, but maybe in intel's next generation of CPUs. Cost and therefore parts-wise, it's not just the CPU that would need upgrading, it's the Motherboard and RAM to go with it.
