My 4770k is from one of those Extreme bundles, it sits happily at 4.9Ghz without much of a bump in voltage, try for 5Ghz, it gets into windows but wont pass even 10 seconds of Cinebench/3D physics etc, that's with increasing the voltage up to 1.4+.

Got a chiller for cooling, temps are in the mid 40s for load with 4.9Ghz.
I bought the mATX M6G for my Parvum build, just wondering would getting a Formula help or is this it for my chip?

Or is it something else completely? Will get some bios shots up if you want? (Need help with memory as i'm uber noob :D)

Some dont like volts guys. I have seen this too many times to count. They dont scale with extra Vcore so you have to find other ways to get em stable. VCCIN, VCCSA, IOA, IOD and relaxing some memory timings or speeds.

The gene is a great board. I was using a chip 5.1 on air with XTU benching today RAM at 2666 C9-12-12-21 1T no problem. Testing efficiency for Pro Benching cup and Kingston HyperX comp.

Board ran this bench effectively Prime all day.

Thought as much :(
If i posted up my bios screens do you think you could help get the magic 5Ghz, and help with the memory situation as i really am clueless, can get the screens up tomorrow some time.

8GB TeamGroup XtreemLV 2600CL10.

Are we going for mhz or efficient mhz?? I cant see the cache ratio what is that set to?? and your running 2800 RAM yeah. Well SA is way too low should be around 1.2. IOA and IOD around the same. You may need even higher SA though.
