4770k cooling

Hiya all,
Currently using the stock cooler, but while looking at a better solution on ocuk today, i remembered i still have my arctic freezer 13 in the attic..
Would this cpu cooler work to cool my haswell?
i believe i still have all the different mounts etc in the box.
Thanks for any clarification.

Yeah, works fine with the included Intel mounts. Socket 1150 is the same as Socket 1155/1156. I was using one for a couple of weeks until my H100 arrived earlier this the week. Temps were fine on a Haswell i5, about 10C cooler than my overclocked Q9550 it was used with previously.

Beware using FanXpert2 profiling on the MVIH however as it didn't appear to play nice with the Freezer 13 fan. After profiling it runs the CPU fan at maximum rpm at idle temps. Using the standard pre-defined Asus profiles it worked as expected.
