4770k at stock
Corsaire H80 cooler
gigabyte gaming 5 motherboard
Case Phantek enthoo pro midi

Idle temps 23-27c
after 10/15 mins of prime95 (blend test) temps are between 76-80c

H80 is on the 3 profile connected to the CPU_OPT header (says water cooling in the manual)
Phantek hub is connected to the CPU fan header and a sata power connecter

gonna try switch the connections round later.

are the prime95 temps normal?

Sounds about right, haswell do run hot!

Is this with the stock TIM? Maybe try MX-4 if it bothers you or if you'd like a little more room to overclock.

Prime puts and unrealistic level of stress on a CPU though so in game temps won't be anything like that high :)
 
As already said, Prime gives temps which no game will ever do.

My Haswell running 4.5GHZ (1.25v) with a H100i will hit 80c under Prime.
However whilst gaming I've yet to see 60c.
 
It is with mx4 and cpu at stock...
A friend of mine has a 4770k at stock with a h80 but he's replaced the 2 corsair fans, gets low 70's..
So could be the stock fans arent great
