Just want to get a better pic of the vcores everyone is setting for a stable overclock.
For 4.60GHZ stable I have to have mine at 1.25v.

From what I've read, if you're getting 4.6Ghz stable at only 1.25v, you have a pretty decent chip. I'll be happy if i can do that on mine.

I'm guessing max temps in the mid 80s under IBT? Assuming you're air cooling that is.

Whats the usual required vcore for 4.60ghz, ?

It will depend on if you have a good chip or not. Time will tell how many will be good clockers, early signs are not that good, you seem to have a good one. What are your temps?

I've only seen a few reviews, but I think that 1.3v was usually required for the higher clock speeds.

...Actually, looking around, it seems more like 4.7 and 4.8Ghz that need 1.3v+ (and have awful temperatures to go with them). So your 1.25v is probably fairly typical for 4.6Ghz.

As above - I'd be interested to know your temperatures during stability testing :)

Just done the quick and dirty screening method. Set Vcore to 1.25V and upped multiplier to 46.

i7-4770K, 4.6GHz, CPUID showing voltage as 1.248V, 10mins stable on AIDA64. Haven't tried lowering the Vcore yet but thats the next step I think.

edit:

At the same Vcore am running at 4.8GHz.

What board are you using Dice? Just doing a reinstall of Windows at the moment on mine but will try a bit of overclocking tonight.

I'm using the Sabertooth Z87 and it turns out I wasn't stable, Had to bump it up to 1.28 but the trmps are strangley awesome.

Pic below after 30 minutes of AIDA64 *Keep in mind my house does not hold heat at all ^_^ * -
