478 MSI 848P NeoV Motherboard not bootin - Why?

I have a MSI 848P NeoV (6788) After switching on get nothing no bio info nothing.
Have checked the Intel 2.8 chip that's Ok
Have checked the Power that's ok
Have tried several video cards
The monitor works ok with another puter
So anyone suggest the next step?

Ram

try one card in each slot at a time,
repeat with other cards, one at a time.

Is this a new build?

Do you have both power connections fitted 24 pin + 8 pin.

Have no pci cards
The ram is good
This is a £5 at a boot sale just cleaned the fur out! maybee a dry connection has appeared after removing cables etc?
Have cleared the bios
Even tried a sata HD
