just brought the recently released 478 pin with agp and pci-express mobo modle no,asus pv4800d-x,just to keep my 3.4 northwood going.users manual is ok,but it does not give as much information as most i have seen, but for 34 pounds brand new i should not grumble.for instance it does not say in manual if there is a agp or pci-e lock, the a1 overclock options are 5,10 20,30%. my exsisting ram is pc3500 kingmax duel kit ,so i am overclocked at 10%,pc does show up as a 3.740 processor, and is running very stable.coupled with a sapphire x1800xt 256mb,looks like i am cpu limited as only getting 15700 in 3d03 & 7500 in 3d05.thinking of getting some pc4000 ram & overclock to 20% which will show up as a 4.040 cpu,but unsure of the lock if any exists on this mobo.the asus probe utility for temps, fan speeds,&voltages shows cpu temp as 15c with my artic freezer 4,does not seem right somehow.has anyone had any experience with this mobo that can give me any tips so i can get a bit more performance, thanks
