4780 x2 8pin issue

well, after a few hours of playing about i have finally got the 4870x2 working properly.

flashed it to the latest bios with same problem, so flashed it back to an earlier version and now evrything is OK :-D

Bios was showing 12.1v, so as said above speedfan is rubbish as its saying 6.8v now.

anyway thanks very much for all the input.
