4790k replaced but different code mich difference ?

Hi all

Just had my new 4790k arrive from intel. The one i sent them was make in malay and had a L42 code

The new one is made in vietnam and has an X43 code is there much difference should i expect the same oc ?

So far so good, Jumped straight into 4.8 @1.311 running in prime atm tad warm but crappy cooler. will go for 4.9 in a min

First chip was a Dead-un never tried overclocking as it was never stable at stock clocks then re installed windows and would not post. called intel they said its a dead chip. Replaced it with this one and its fab.

Downloading real bench now 400mb !

I have never had an issue before and now its been replaced by intel (useless DHL for sending it to the wrong country) i can honestly say it actually was DOA and never even tried over clocking it etc. however intel tested it and confirmed Core 1 was faulty

that heats my CPU way beyond prime! prime i was getting 81C this test it got to 100c within 1 min !

done the stress test, runs a lot hotter than prime. Random still in Arma 3 getting 68c after half hour. Im just about to build a custom water loop so temps will soon be sorted at the moment have a naff Coolermaster 212 evo
