480 in D800

Im assuming someone already put a 480 rad in the top of a corsair D800,
so was it just a case of cutting out the extra space at the front ?

Either way the dremel is coming out next week and ones going in mine, just wondered if anyone had found any difficulties doing such a mod.

Some people just cut out the extra fan space. Most I've seen cut out the whole top of the case and use a rad grill instead, like so:

Cool , yea thats pretty much the plan .
Ive just tried my new phobya grill and it doesnt quit line up with the 360 bitspower grill thats there ATM
So looks like a completely new cut out is the way forward. Just got some new cutting wheels delivered too so hopefully ill get it done in the next few weeks .

Yes m8 and moving the 360 thats up there now down to the bottom.

Oh nice when I had mine I had a 360 in the roof and modded the bottom for a 240.

ive also got a 240 at the bottom now which i need for a new project and my new 7990 sends out some decent temps hence the bigger rads. Im also removing the middle shelf and replacing it with a perspex panel.
