would you really buy a 480 over a 580 ? surely the 480's have got to get cheeper :) or am i missing something? if your upgrading for £50 more you can get a 580
 
depends on money really, if you only have enough for a 480 and cant find the extra 50 but need a card now then yes youd have to lol. in fact id choose a 480 over 6970 ( even though theyre not out yet ) just because of the cuda in video editing makes such a difference.
