Been playing pro evo and sometimes vsync works and other times it's like it forgets that vsync is set to always on is this a known issue with the official 8.7 drivers ?
 
I've had issues for ages, ever since my x1800xt. The drivers just never seem to apply any of the settings I have set in ccc, be it aa or whatever. It will occasionally apply the settings although it is completly random and doesn't seem to happen that often (for me at least).

After I googled it when I initially found I had this problem I found that others had the same issue, but no one had found a solution to it.

Erm, it worked fine on my 2900Pro as soon as I got it. I don't know how an X1800XT is having problems?. This is Pro Evolution 6 and 2008 :confused:.

ATI drivers don't suck at all in my experience and this isn't only my view on this. I get one problem in one game and that is Call of Duty 1. All 8/9 series Nvidia cards are affected. I urinate all over CoD4 but CoD1 stutters like crazy lol. Every other title is fine on ATI and Nvidia. I've been on XP SP2 32bit the whole time though if that makes a difference?.
