4850 Crossfire temps.

My 2 cards seem to be running hot as hell.

The bottom card:
GPU: 70
Memio: about 80

Top card
GPU: 80
Memio: 90

Bottom card is getting much better airflow. Obv the top card is drawing hot air from the bottom one. What it the Memio temp? i have tried resetting the coolers (both aftermarket flowers, prefitted), dropped them about 2 deg. I hae tried an old vf1000 but it hardly make asny difference and gets in the way of the xfire bridges.

These temps ok? They seem damn high to me, any ideas?

Those temps are the norm.

My 4850 was hitting 80c ish idle until I sat a Thermalrigh HR-03 on it. Idles at 36c now.

O those are fully loaded temps. Just ran fur mark and my memio reached 97 :eek:

They both have Aftermarket coolers on. Would summin like a Antec cool spot help?

Whats your case cooling like?

The temps on a crossfire setup would be better if you had more than one intake & exhaust fan.

An Antec cool spot may help. You may need to get some cooler air blowing across the bottom and something to draw it up faster to the top of the case. Does your case have an intake fan at the bottom?

I have an asaka Eclipse 62. Sharkoon running at 1700rpm at the front bottom of the the case (intake) and a 1200rpm (intake) above that. At the Rear below the PSU i have a 1200rpm fan (exhaust).

The GPU Core temps im not so worried about it dont get much higher than 82-85. Its the MEMIO temp (dont know what this is, maybe the big heatsink on the backrear of the card by the power connector?) that gets high Running Furmark for 5mins pushed it to 95deg. When idle then drops to about 61.
Its also near the NB

so my Chipset temps are 55 (not that bad i dont think).
This is for the top card.

The lower card Memio generally no higher than 85, with GPU 10deg less normally, this card get lots of air from my lower intake fan, so its not as bad.

I dont know how big exhaust coolers are i have one PCI slot free above the top card, and one below the bottom card.

I really like the performance im getting with Xfire but i dont like the heat so im tempted to sell both cards and summin else, annoying as i bought the mobo based on xfire.

I swapped the cards areound, GPU max about 82top 64bottom. memio still reach 90deg. Circuits boards very hot.
