4850 dead ? or ?

Deleted member 2277 is just getting a few kicks in while you are down, not really helpful but what goes around comes around as they say . . .
 
Bunged in my new gigabyte 4850 in to abit ip-35pro corsair hx520
booted up fine so I installed the hotfix drivers upon restarting pc wouldn't boot up just get power recycling and a click noise no idea what that noise is have tried unplugging everything apart from ram and card and still no boot code on board is 8.3 which i believe to be normal any ideas what the problem could be ? i have cleared cmos and tried other pci e slot etc.
i have 2 red lights on the gpu top side btw.

what hotfix drivers ? what are they for ?
are they for graphics card ? if so where do i get them and what do they fix
 
Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but I now have the same problem. Although im not sure if its the PSU as it powers a 6600GT perfectly fine (posting on it now). both of the red LED's on the back of the card are on.
