4850 or 4870?

Im currently using the spec in my sig with a 24inch dell, would a 4850 be ok or should i go for a 4870 and if so which card would be recommended?

4870 for that res, and id just get the cheapest.

If you're skint, get a 4850, as it'll be mostly fine at your required res and you'll be happy. If you have more money, get a 4870 and you'll be happier.

Come on easy, you should know a 4850 is good enough for 1920x1200.

If you wanna save a bit of cash, just get the 4850, they're not realistically that much faster than a 4850. 4850s do well at 2560x1600, they can cope with almost every game out maxed at 1920x1200 bar the usual Crysis.

I play on a 22" monitor and upgraded this weekend from a 8800GTS to a 4850, I have to say i'm very happy with ag reat upgrade.

It runs crysis well enough when it starts to fall behind i'll add another 4850 and crossfire it

but the 4870 if it MUST be ATI for some reason or other.

Decided on the 4850, if i dont feel its good enough i will flog it on and update again
