4850x2 2gb price?

when is the 4850x2 going to come down in price because at the moment on ocuk it is £290 !
you can buy a 4870x2 for just £40 more on ocuk for £330!
so why would anyone buy a 4850x2?
surely there must be a price cut on the way?

Maybe, but ATi seem to of held their ground fairly solid of recent

you can get it for much cheaper else where i though the RRP was ~£250

Price cuts on several ATi products were announced a few weeks ago however these take a while to filter through to retailers, as they may well still have stock bought at older prices they need to sell on. Happens with some stockists quicker than others.
