4850X2 or 4890?

I'm looking to upgrade my monitors, to 2x 24" Dell TrueColour E248WFP and I somehow don't think my 512MB 8800GT is going to like that very much. So I've narrowed it down to these two, either the 2GB 4850X2 or the 1GB 4890?

Also, Will I need to upgrade my OCZ 600Watt power supply to handle either of the cards?

my vote goes to 4890 at that price and amd minimum spec is 500watt recommanded is 600w, so if your psu got a 6pin and a 8pin i think you be fine

I would stay away from any dual gpu solutions if I were you. 4890 is a better option imo.

Wow, that is cheap, Thanks. I'd have missed that.

And in thought that would work better, with that amound of screen to fill I'm gonna want as much vRAM as I can have.

Would I be able to run that off my current power supply with my other hardware?

Probably, depends.. though a single 8800 GT wont run too well on newer games at that resolution so if you are keeping it till newer cards come out you would have to drop the resolution which makes games look ugly on LCD.

Well when are the 5 Series due out? I'm sure I can go without gaming for a while.
