4870 7.1 PCM + Titanium Fatal1ty = ???

Thinking of a little upgrade to my system and was wondering if the onboard 7.1 on the 4870 would play well with the Fatal1ty.
Essentialy what I want to do is use the Fatal1ty for games and send bluray and dvd over the 4870's HDMI.
Any help appreciated guys

Will work fine, you'll just have to select the ATI HDMI sound device in your DVD software.
