4870 and 5770

I'm having to replace a broken 4870 and have enough to get the 5770.

Is there much in it? Should I just stick with another 4870?

Any recommendations?

5770 is about the same performance, however the 5770 has dx11 and eyefinity and uses less power than the 4870

So does that means its actually lower performance or just nothing to worry about.

Pretty much matches it 1:1.

5770 has faster core clock, but less memory bandwidth.

Should end up faster after its had some drivers, as at the minute its got none, and is only about 2 frames slower than the 4870, which has had loads of drivers now.

Yeah i changed to a 5770 for my Shuttle system, havent noticed anything different compared to my 4870, everything runs smooth as butter Hopefully more driver updates can bump up the performance.
