Well I know it's good, but my 8800GT died and I've been out of the upgrading loop for a long time now so I ordered a 512mb 4870 from ocuk for the princely sum of 85 quid, couldn't wait until Leadtek bothered sorting out the RMA and with the horror stories I've read about them I doubt I'd ever end up receiving a working replacement, however, if I do, I guess I can always flog it for 40 odd quid.

Should be a nice boost, at 1920x1200 I noticed a boost of approx 30% going from an 8800GTS 512, which is about 15% faster than your card. If nothing else you should get more AA for your cash!

Very good buy at £85, they are very quiet at idle, but jump jet harrier when playing games, but you can play about with fan speeds in the ATI Control Panel.

Yeah they are good bang for buck you should see a nice boost.

See what yours is like; they seem to vary. On the plus side you have access to manual fan control now if you need it; but see what you think; the auto fan control actually isnt that bad.
