well, the only solution I can find for this so far is modding the bios to change the look-up table, which sure... I could do, but would it void warranty?
I have tried RivaTuner, which worked for my previous 1950 pro, but this just makes the fan go mental and switch between speeds at random every second
Also would you reckon its worth re-seating the heat sink? (this voids warranty i guess too ?)... temps aren't mental (around 65-70 load with fan on 33%) but I like to know Ive done all I can (without buying a new cooler right now I'm skint)

Could all 4870 owners (mines a 1GB powercolour branded one) please post their cooling/temps/overclocks if possible?
