Hey , what are you using to overclock the gfx card ??
the catalyst control centre on mine tests the gpu but it still says the current clock frequency is 500MHz and the memory is 1090Mhz even though the test says that the gpu is at 780Mhz and memory 1090Mhz.
Just got this card today and moved from a 8800gts so not familiar with overclocking ATI cards
3D Mark 06 is currently at 15233 btw.
Just installed the AMD clock tool and so far i have got GPU up to 810MHz with memory at 1090Mhz and getting 3D 06 Score of 16912 , anyone any idea how high the gpu will clock , just going 10Mhz at a time at the moment , what is the avreage clock i should expect or am i pushing it a bit
no mate cant control the fan speed yet have to wait for rivatuner for that budIts a Q6600 running at 3.5Ghz (425x8) on a Asus Rampage Formula with Vista 64, upped the GPU to 820 and it froze in 3DMark06
will try to push it a little more later got it up to 16925 GPU 815MHz and memory 1090MHz, my highest score with the 8800gts 640Mb was just over 15000 so i am happy with the upgrade
Can you control the fan speed ?????
seems like the fan is running slow , it comes on at full speed when booting then slows down and dont seem to increase in speed whilst testing
