4870 cf upgrade

512mb or 1gb?

4870 1gb crossfire is still pretty nippy, if 512 I can understand as mine was lagging a bit a high res.

Whats your reason for upgrading, what do you play?

Whats your budget?
 
both cards are 1g and i play at 1920x1080 as for budget cheaper the better just feels like ive had these cards forever.
 
I dont think you will get a performance increase thats worthwhile, if any, for a cheap as chips budget.

You're basically sitting on a 4870x2, which still trades blows with a 5870.

Stick around with what you have for a little while longer, and see what the 69xx brings to the table, if you're wanting to be loyal to AMD. You don't necesarily have to go with a 69xx, as it should be bringing price changes all over.

Of course, just my opinion, you're welcome to disagree =)
