I just received my XFX 4870 from overclockers as a replacement Asus 4870 which was faulty. However, i noticed that the stock clocks were 775/950 but were actually hugely reduced.
I researched it abit and it seems that the card underclocks when in 2D applications (such as desktop/browsing ect) which is fine, however, i noticed that the clocks didnt revert to their normal values when ingame. They stayed at 200/500.

That screen was taken while TF2 was loaded. Ingame im getting low performance from the card, 50/60fps which would indicate a low clock speed from the card. Any ideas?
