I got ArmA 2 yesterday (great game=)) and i decided to put the settings to full and it looks awesome, but my GPU gets really hot. I'm using a "Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB GDDR5" @ 1440x900 with about 30fps. The temps are hitting around 80C which i know these cards can withstand but the fan is really loud i can hear it through my headphones :P.

So yeah i'm looking for a new cooler never fitted a GPU cooler before .. is it difficult??

I have a Sapphire 4870 1gb mem,and i have just fitted a S1 REV2 Arctic cooler on it,now my temps dont go above 50% on full load,plus i dont hear it,its brilliant.
also you just need the 8 little ramsinks that come with the cooler.
i put a 120mm fan ontop of the S1 REV2 cooler as well.
It is pretty straight forward to do,well worth it though.
