4870 or Hasswell GPU

Got a new build for my father coming in the morning.

He does not game, but he does video edit with premier pro i think it is, got 16 GB ram on the way.

My question is i have an old Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB, would i be better off just leaving the haswell gpu do the work or put the old GPU in it.

Tried to look for charts and stuff, didn't find any.

The 4870 is much better than the haswell GPU. It just depends on whether or not premier pro can use the extra power (i'm not clued up on these things). Also consider that the 4870 has a fairly high power consumption even on idle.
