4870 problem?

Hey guys,well a few weeks ago i bought and built my new pc,and all seems to be running fine except im not sure if the problem i got is actually a problem. The clock values of my XFX XXX edition 512mb 4870 arent right out of game,but when i go into game they go up to what they're supposed to be

is this ok or is there a problem?

im mainly just worried that im not getting the full performance out of the card....seems very strange alright! anybody else have a similar problem?

ok so all is good,just out of curiosity,do all 4870's do that or is it just mine?because a friend of mine just bought a 4870 and its running really hot just browsing the web etc,and its running at full clock speeds when idle.Also im using a gigabyte GA-EP43 motherboard which has some sort of power saving method,is that why the gpu runs at slower clock speed out of game? thanks

btw friends runs at over 70 degrees out of game,is this ok?

ye i thought 70 sounded far too hot considering i get like 35
